    What Is Panic ResQ Button?

    • Panic ResQ Button is a wearable device about the size of a water bottle cap
    • In an emergency, press the logo for 3 seconds, to activate. Green Light will come ON for few seconds
    • When activated broadcasts distress signal continously
    • Any ResQ Button App Phone/Tablet or ResQ Gateway device in vicinity will pick up the signal and forward to our Cloud Computers
    • Our Cloud Computers notify all your Emergency Contacts by Automated Voice Calls, SMS, Push Notification and E-Mail with your current location
    • Anyone near you with a ResQ Button App device, Cloud will ask them to help you. It is like getting your neighbor to come and help you in an emergency
    • Automated Voice Calls are limited to only U.S.A, Canada & India and a maximum of 5 calls to a single Emergency Contact Phone number in a 24-Hour period.
    • Other Countries are possible, if we have a major customer base.
    • You can provide landline phone numbers of your Emergency Contacts for countries where Voice Notifications are supported.

    What Are The Requirements?

    • Purchase a Panic ResQ Button here
    • Download the ResQ Button App from Google Play or App store
    • Sign-in into the App and give permissions to use Location, Bluetooth, Notification & Internet
    • Make sure you always have the Location, Bluetooth, Notification & Internet turned on your device for ResQ Button App to work
    • Configure your button from the App with the following information
      • Button Owner Name & Phone Number
      • Up to 6 Emergency Contacts
    • Your Emergency contacts will get an SMS about your button and a link to download the App
    • Ask them to download the App and register on all their devices. In an emergency they can get Voice, SMS & Push Notification on their nearest device
    • They can also setup a unique notification sound for emergency alerts

    I do not see ResQ Button under my Phone Bluetooth Devices

    • Panic ResQ Button uses an unique technology, so it will show on your Phone nearby Bluetooth devices only when activated.
    • This way you don't want to show anyone that you carry a Panic Button

    How Do I Configure A Panic ResQ Button?

    • When connected to internet, download ResQ Button App from Google Play or App store
    • Sign-in to the App and give permissions to use Location, Bluetooth, Notification & Internet
    • Click on the My ResQ Button(s) icon on the App
    • Click the + icon on the bottom right of the screen under the My ResQ Button(s) tab
    • Press the logo on the Panic ResQ Button for 3 second(s) the green light will come on for few seconds
    • App will read information from the Panic ResQ Button, verify with the cloud and will take you to the Button Page
      • Add up to 6 Emergency Contacts Name, Mobile and/or E-Mail
      • Choose a 4-digit Disable PIN & Emergency PIN, both should be different
      • Use Disable PIN to disable your Panic Button when activated accidentally
      • Use Emergency PIN when someone forces you to disable the Panic Button activation

    • Yes, we do have some Hotel Installations
    • We ship Gateways, which can be kept behind TV Screens or other place in the room.
    • The Gateways connect to your Hotel Wi-Fi and your employees carry individual Panic Buttons
    • Anytime a Hotel employee in that room, presses the Panic Button, all emergency contacts receive notifications with the Room Number.
    • Using Gateway removes your dependence on employee Smart Phones

What Are The Requirements?

  • Purchase a Panic ResQ Button
  • Configure it with a ResQ Button App phone with the following information
    • Button Owner Name
    • Phone Number
    • Disable and Emergency PIN’s
    • Up to 6 Emergency Contacts they may or may not be a ResQ Button App users, but own a Smart Phone with network connectivity
  • If you do not own a phone with ResQ Button App, make sure you will be in the vicinity of a ResQ Button App device, like School Children in vicinity of Teachers with ResQ Button App installed phones
  • ResQ Button App requires the Location Services, Network & Bluetooth to be on all the time, it is neither a security risk nor a Battery Hog for keeping Bluetooth on all the time, if you take care of certain preventive measures

How Do I Configure A Panic Resq Button?

  • Buy a Panic ResQ Button
  • Make sure you have network connectivity and download the App from the respective store
  • After registration click on the My ResQ Button(s) icon on the App
  • Click the + button on the App bottom right hand corner
  • Press and Hold the Logo for 3 seconds for the Green LED to come on
  • Keep the Panic ResQ Button on top of your Phone Screen
  • Phone will negotiate with the Panic ResQ Button to determine the Serial Number, Model Number and other things, this process will take about 45 seconds to complete
  • If everything is okay then the App will move to the Add ResQ Button screen
  • Configure your button with the required information like
    • Button Nick Name like Keychain, Necklace etc
    • Change the Button Owner details if the button is for someone else other than you
    • Enter 4-digit Disable and Emergency PIN, they both should be different
    • Disable PIN is to disable the Panic Alarm during false activations
    • If you are forced to enter the Disable PIN, enter the emergency PIN, we will display as alarm resolved, but internally we will notify your emergency contacts and Police
    • Fill in details about your 6 Emergency Contacts, if you don’t know their ResQ Button App user ID’s just enter their Phone numbers

Parthi Munusamy, for the last 20+ years has worked in different capacities at Mylex (now part of IBM), Andiamo Systems (Acquired by Cisco), Ocarina Networks (Acquired by Dell) building enterprise call highly available systems.

Parthi has a B.E degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, India and M.S degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Sacramento. Holds multiple patents in the Storage & Network area.
